Spring Clean Up April 8th and Other News!

Time for Some Spring Cleaning

It’s that time of year! We need more volunteers to help with our annual neighborhood spring clean up, part of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and the City of Indianapolis’ Great Indy Cleanup. Plan on being there at 10 am this Saturday! Details below. Let’s make our neighborhood shine!

– Free cleaning supplies will be available at 10AM at the corner of 10th and Brookside in George Berry Park. Meet at the “Windsor Park” sign

– Trash Compactor Truck will be available to haul junk and trash from 12 Noon – 2:30. We will be walking through the neighborhood to pick-up trash during that time, so please set what you would like hauled away out on the curb.

– If you would like to help load the Trash Truck or if you know of something heavy that you want the Truck to go to, please meet at 10th and Brookside at 12 Noon.

Volunteers from Duvall Residential Center will be helping clean the area near Pogues Run early in the morning. If you are passing by, be sure to say thank you!

Raise a glass to your favorite librarian (Deb Ehret)!

Join the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation and the Spades Park Branch Library at a special fundraising event in honor of National Library Workers’ Day!
$1 from every pint sold will benefit library programs and services at the Spades Park Branch, right here in the Windsor Park neighborhood.
