Windsor Park Neighborhood Association Open House – April 9th
Next Saturday, April 9, from 11am to 3pm, Windsor Park Neighborhood Association will be hosting an open house at the Spades Park library in the upstairs meeting room. This is a great time to come out to meet your neighbors and find out what projects your neighborhood association will be working on this year.
Also, this year, other community organizations have been invited to attend to display information about the services that they offer to our neighborhood. Stop by anytime between 11am and 3pm to find out what’s happening in your neighborhood and in the surrounding community. Light refreshments will be served.
Windsor Park Neighborhood Clean-Up – April 30th
As part of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc’s Great Indy Cleanup month in April, Windsor Park Neighborhood will be joining other near eastside neighborhoods in having a Clean-Up day on April 30. Please mark your calendars to join us from 10am to 12noon to spruce up the neighborhood for spring. We need people who are interested in doing a wide variety of jobs from hauling trash to spending some time on our neighborhood sign gardens. So whether you’re willing to fish debris out of Pogues Run or you’d rather prune some bushes or rake some leaves, we need your help to make our neighborhood shine. A dumpster will be placed in the center of our neighborhood for Clean-Up trash and folks will sign up for various teams. Adopt-A-Block captains are also encouraged to spend that time cleaning the litter on your adopted block. A detailed sign-up sheet will be available at the April 9th Open House, the April 20th WPNA meeting, and online with links in the coming Windsor Park Wire and Weekly News newsletters.
